DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES AWARENESS DAY

THE LARGEST CONFERENCE OF ITS TYPE IN THE USA!

THURSDAY, MAY 26, 2011 – BUFFALO, NEW YORK

individuals with developmental disabilities and their families, human service agency

representatives, and local officials to explore current issues in the field. The day will include

speakers, workshops, vendor exhibits, and provide information on the many services available to

people with developmental disabilities living in the Western New York community.

This year’s

human services and community issues, is the author of six books that have won praises and

awards for their thoughtful approach to culture and community.

The conference will

participation, contribution and involvement of developmentally disabled people in the Western

New York community and society overall.

Additionally, there will be a Parents Area where parents can talk to experts from local agencies

and have their questions answered. Other special events include an Art Gallery featuring local

artists, an Internet Café and various performers throughout the day.
